*Clinic Adminsitrative Assistant
The Assistant provides administrative support for the Clinic Administrative team. The Clinic Administrative Assistant will assist the Administrative team with daily tasks, scheduling departmental meetings, data collection and reporting, invoice processing, other clerical duties, special projects, and initiatives for the department that may vary day to day. Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and assist, as directed, in various duties throughout the organization. May include cross training to other department roles within the clinic setting.
The receptionist is responsible to welcome and greet all patients, family members, visitors, and vendors of Pagosa Springs Medical Center in a friendly, professional, courteous, and helpful manner, providing excellent customer service. Responsible for maintaining the patient check-in log to ensure all patients are checked-in and registered for services at PSMC to ensure services are provided in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinates with the Volunteer Desk for any patient needs, e.g., wheelchairs, guided direction to appropriate areas of the clinic and hospital.
* Pre-Certification Specialist
The specialist is responsible for obtaining authorizations for ordered services, timely and accurately, to ensure reimbursement for outpatient services. The specialist is responsible for providing complete documentation of clinical information to payers in support of healthcare services to be authorized.
* Patient Registration Clerk
The clerk provides administrative support. The Registration Clerk will courteously greet all patients in person and on the phone in a timely manner. The Clerk is responsible for the accurate and efficient entering of patient information in the Electronic Health Record through the Registration Conversation. The Clerk is responsible for verifying insurance eligibility. The Clerk is responsible for collecting and posting insurance co-payments and patient payments.
* Call Receptionist
The receptionist operates clinic telephone switchboards and consoles to connect, hold and transfer telephone calls and provide information to assist callers. The Call Receptionist transfers calls to appropriate contacts within the organization. The Call Receptionist performs routine and some non-routine work involved primarily with the operation of the telephone switchboard and the operation and maintenance of a computerized database of telephone information. Additional duties include retrieving and organizing incoming electronic faxes for appointment, referral and order requests. The Call Receptionist reviews faxes for complete and accurate information and returns incomplete orders to outside providers with requests for updated information.
*Nutritional Services Worker
The Nutritional Service Worker prepares and cooks food for hospital patients, staff, and visitors. Must have a flexible schedule and willing to work nights and weekends.
