*Med/Surg RN

The RN must administer patient care, across the age continuum, in a safe, efficient and courteous manner in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting for laboratory instrumentation.

  • Must meet all the requirements and standards set forth in the PSMC Acute Care Registered Nurse job description.
  • Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience as a registered nurse.
  • Active registered nurse licensure in the State of Colorado.
  • Current BLS certification is required, ALCS and PALS are preferred.
  • This is a night shift position

*Medical Technologist

The Tech performs technical analytical procedures requiring knowledge and techniques in areas such as hematology, chemistry, special chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, serology, urinalysis, coagulation and phlebotomy as ordered by the physicians.

  • Performs routine maintenance and troubleshooting for laboratory instrumentation.
  • Performs records and participates in evaluation of Quality Control for tests conducted.
  • Must have at least an Associate’s degree in Laboratory Sciences with Medical Technologist certification.

*Compliance Coordinator

This position provides administrative support to the Director of Clinical Value and to the departments that make up the clinical value suite (Compliance, Quality, Regulatory Reporting and Information Technology).

  • Responsible for administrative management of the occurrence reporting system and the policy management system.
  • Administers the Contract Management Process.
  • Maintains documentation of Quality and Performance Improvement committees.
  • Assists with daily tasks, projects, and initiatives for the organization that may vary from day to day.
  • Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and assist, as directed, in various duties throughout the organization.
  • Organized, efficient and functions independently when required.

*Float Support Staff

This position provides support to multiple departments, clinical or nonclinical where needed.

  • Must be able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and assist, as directed, in various duties throughout the organization.
  • Must be flexible and able to work different shifts.
  • Successful candidates must be able to work independently with very little supervision, professional, reliable, and possess excellent communication skills both oral and written.

 

*Paramedic or EMT

We are seeking candidates with varying levels of experience that value providing safe and compassionate care, with integrity and transparency in a just culture. *Infusion/Oncology RN

The RN is responsible for outpatient infusion services including chemotherapy.

  • Must be proficient in IV insertions, PICC line and Port-a-Cath management, Phlebotomy, blood transfusions, performing nursing H&P/assessment, communication with ordering physicians and staff, etc.
  • Responsible for patient teaching such as injections and all aspects of IV infusion therapy for all disease processes.
  • Must have Colorado RN license.
  • ONS Chemo/Bio Certification required or able to obtain within 3 months of hire.

*Housekeeper

The housekeeper will maintain and implement a clean, safe and positive patient care and work environment by following PSMC policies and procedures, best practice methods, and OSHA guidelines throughout the entire organization.

*Registration/Quality Review Supervisor

The Supervisor is responsible to direct, supervise, and coordinate daily activities for the Emergency Department Registration staff and perform Quality Review for facility wide Registration.

  • Responsibilities include ensuring patients are registered in a timely, efficient, and compliant manner and meeting all hospital, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Ensures all insurances are verified via Cerner, eSolutions, or Availity.
  • When patients are admitted to observation or Inpatient, reviews the encounter and ensures notification is called into the payer and email sent to Pre-Service to meet any pre-certification requirements.
  • Quality Review requirements include generating and working reports to review and correct encounters for accurate and timely claim generation.
  • Maintains quality service and patient satisfaction, assists direct reports in staffing aspects including but not limited to: scheduling, interviewing, hiring, training, monitoring, improving skill set and verifying competencies are completed.
  • Schedules and implements ED Registration Staff meetings as necessary.
  • Supervisor will cross train in all registration areas to assist with coverage as needed.
  • Individual must exhibit a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all documentation and correspondence.
  • Will assist in correcting mistakes, special projects, and miscellaneous/administrative duties assigned such as, but not limited to: placing supply orders, assisting in audits, re-training and incident reporting.

*Nutritional Services Worker

* Radiology Technologist

The Tech performs radiographic procedures to assist in a diagnosis of disease and injuries.  The Radiologic Technologist works effectively with patients and patients’ families and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.  Applicant must have CT experience.  This is a PRN (on-call) position.

The CNA assists in the administration of care to patients in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.  Follows proper procedures in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.  Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.  Possesses the ability to assess/collect data reflective of the patient’s status needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
