Nicholas Reynolds, DO is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Reynolds received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, MO. He completed his residency training through the Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency program at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma and Durant Family Medicine Clinic.
Prior to moving to Pagosa Springs, Dr. Reynolds worked as an Emergency Room Physician and also practiced Family Medicine in southern Oklahoma. With his wife and 4 children, Dr. Reynolds looks forward to taking advantage of all outdoor activities the region has to offer.
John D. Wisneski, MD is board certified in family medicine, specializing in acute care, and has been practicing since 2005. He earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, and went on to complete the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency program, where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Wisneski practiced full-spectrum family medicine in Grand County for 10 years, including hospital care, emergency medicine, and an outpatient clinic. Dr. Wisneski also served as Chief of Staff at Middle Park Medical Center. His hobbies include hiking, biking, inline skating, skiing, snowshoeing, softball, racquetball, scuba diving, cooking, car restoration, travel, and astronomy.
Jared Halterman, DO is an emergency medicine physician who has been practicing since 2015. Dr. Halterman attended A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. He then went on to complete his Emergency Medicine Residency at Ohio Valley Medical Center in Wheeling, WV, where he served as Chief Resident from March 2014 to July 2014. Dr. Halterman serves as Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Pagosa Springs Medical Center. He enjoys all outdoor activities while exploring Pagosa Springs with his family.
Ralph Battels, MD is a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician. He graduated with double major Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from UC Santa Cruz and chose Medicine over bench research. He earned his MD and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at The Ohio State University where he met his wife Michelle. Dr. Battels joined the medical staff at Pagosa Springs Medical Center in August 2013. Since then he has served as Director of the Emergency Department, and most recently as Chief of Staff. Ralph is best described as an avid reader who enjoys woodworking and hiking. His wife says he also likes to put his Biochemistry degree to good use and makes really awesome pepper sauce.
