Celia Lowry, MSW-LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in the Behavioral Health department at Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC). Ms. Lowry graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Social Work in 1986. Ms. Lowry provided behavioral health services through her private practice in Texas for 22 years, specializing in grief, trauma, and traumatic grief. Prior to joining PSMC, she provided behavioral health services for adults, adolescents, families, and children at Axis Health System in Pagosa Springs. Ms. Lowry has over 30 years of experience in behavioral health services, including EMDR and DBT, and her interests include treating children and adolescents.

Kevin Kelly, PhD

Kevin Kelly, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist and director of the Behavioral Health department at Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC). With over 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Kelly specializes in providing counseling and psychotherapy services for individuals, couples, families, veterans, and seniors. He graduated from United States International University in San Diego, California, with a Doctorate in Professional Psychology. He earned a Master of Science degree in counseling from San Diego State University. Prior to joining PSMC, Dr. Kelly served as a clinical psychologist working with veterans and seniors, including treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), in Archuleta County. He served as clinical director at Aliso Laguna Village, an inpatient memory care facility in Orange County, California, and served on the Alzheimer’s Association Advisory Board at the University of California Irvine. He received advanced training and has extensive experience in cognitive behavior therapy, providing evaluations and treatment to persons with mild cognitive impairment. He also served as licensed clinical and consulting psychologist in his private practice in Orange County, California, and provided services to Marines and their families at Camp Pendleton. Dr. Kelly served as a U.S. Naval Officer from 1967-1969.

Scott Cordray, DO, is an ear, nose, and throat specialist board certified in Otolaryngology.  He received his Bachelor of Science from Oral Roberts University and went on to earn his medical degree from Oklahoma State University-College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Cordray continued at O.S.U. to complete his residency and fellowship training in general surgery and otolaryngology.

Mindy Siegel, MD is a pediatric orthopedist.  She received her B.A. from the University of Texas.  Dr. Siegel attended medical school and performed her residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.  She went on to obtain her fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at The Children’s Hospital in Denver.  She has been in practice for more than 25 years.

Dr. Siegel resided in Colorado Springs and spends one week a month treating patients in Pagosa Springs.

Outside of her daily job, she is a volunteer physician for USA Tae Kwon Do, USA Gymnastics, and currently sits on Governor Hickenlooper’s Council for Persons with Disabilities.

Dr. Siegel takes advantage of the beautiful Colorado terrain in her free time.  With this in mind, Mindy wants all of her patients to be able to enjoy our beautiful state with her comprehensive and personalized care.

He graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University and earned his doctorate of osteopathic medicine at Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, AZ, where he graduated as valedictorian. Dr. Stopher-Mitchell completed his residency at the University of Colorado Health, Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO, where he practiced full-spectrum family medicine for patients of all ages. Originally from Arizona, he lives in Pagosa with his wife and daughter and enjoys the many amenities of the San Juan Mountains, including biking, fishing, skiing, and camping.

Corinne Reed, DO, is a board-certified family practice physician at Pagosa Springs Medical Center, where she serves as vice chief of staff. Dr. Reed provides primary care for patients of all ages, including prenatal and women’s health services. She graduated magna cum laude from Fort Lewis College in Durango and earned her doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Parker, CO, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Reed completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Colorado Health, Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO, where she practiced full-spectrum family medicine. She is passionate about working with her patients to achieve their highest level of health and wellness. Raised in Durango, Dr. Reed has called Pagosa home for the last decade and is an active member of the local community. She enjoys mountain biking, skiing, and playing outside in the desert and mountains with her husband and son.

Roy Tinguely, MD

Dr. Roy Tinguely is a board certified General Surgeon and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received his Bachelor in Science from the University of Notre Dame and went on to obtain his Medical Doctorate from the University of North Dakota. Dr. Tinguely continued at U.N.D. Department of Surgery to complete his residency in general surgery.

Dr. Tinguely has practiced rurally for over 20 years in Iowa. At Ft. Madison Community Hospital he has served as Chief of Surgery, Trauma Service Medical Director, a member of Medical Executive Committee, and Wound Clinic Medical Director. He also spent time as a mentor for Des Moines University Medical School, and as a CRISP mentor for University of Iowa School of Medicine.

Most recently Dr. Tinguely opened Rural Surgical Relief, a private practice that served rural communities in North Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, South Dakota, Colorado, Minnesota, and Missouri.

As a child, Dr. Tinguely would frequent Colorado, and the allure of the San Juan mountains has brought him to the region where he has envisioned finishing his career. Dr. Tinguely brings with him to Pagosa his wife, Debbie, and they enjoy their lives in the adventure-filled Southwest.

The Tinguely have five children, with the youngest son heading to Iowa State in the fall. They also have a daughter who will be a senior in college at ISU, studying Psychology, another daughter who is attending the Butler University Physician Assistant program, and his oldest daughter who is working for Moglea in Iowa, and a son in the Physics graduate school at MIT in Boston. Dr. Tinguely is looking forward to introducing his kids to the immense beauty that surrounds the Pagosa Springs area.

Dr. Tinguely admits that it was a combination of the beauty of the area and the quality and enthusiasm of the PSMC team that made providing healthcare to the region an easy decision.

Robert Lambert MD, FACC

Dr. Robert Lambert MD, FACC is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is also a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Duke University, Dr. Lambert attended University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences where he received his doctorate of medicine. He continued at UAMS with his internship and residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in cardiovascular medicine.

Dr. Lambert moved to Pagosa from Little Rock, AR where he practiced cardiology for over 30 years. He was most recently at Arkansas Cardiology, the largest cardiology clinic in the state.

He is an active community member and Master Naturalist. In Little Rock he received awards for his work with the Arkansas River Trail and in 2015 the National Park Service named him Volunteer of the Year at Buffalo National River.

Dr. Lambert and his wife, Tonya, have five children including a set of triplets, William, Joseph and Eleanor, a daughter Emily and another daughter Amy who is an Obstetrician in Alamosa, CO.

He enjoys many of the activities the region has to offer including; backpacking, fly fishing, snowshoeing, skiing, and biking. Dr. Lambert is excited to provide his services locally to keep his patients closer to home. He is accepting new patients.

Nicholas Reynolds, DO

Nicholas Reynolds, DO, is an emergency medicine physician at Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC). Dr. Reynolds is board certified in family medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He received his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Missouri and completed his residency in family medicine at the Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency program at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma and Durant Family Medicine Clinic. Prior to joining PSMC, Dr. Reynolds worked as an emergency and family medicine physician in southern Oklahoma. Along with his wife and children, Dr. Reynolds enjoys the many outdoor activities that the region has to offer.

Julie Buchner, MD, is a board-certified family physician at Pagosa Springs Medical Center. She provides primary care for all ages, including non-obstetrical women’s care. Dr. Buchner graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University and earned her medical degree from the Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago. She completed her residency at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Chesterfield Family Medicine Residency program in Richmond. Dr. Buchner previously practiced family medicine in southern Illinois. She enjoys working in collaboration with her patients to manage their healthcare needs and jointly chart a course toward improved wellness. Dr. Buchner lives in Pagosa Springs with her family, where they appreciate the small town, community lifestyle, and opportunity to explore the region’s hidden gems.

Aaron Singh, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant in primary care and family medicine at Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC). Mr. Singh graduated with his master of science in physician assistant studies from A.T. Still University’s Arizona School of Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program in Mesa, AZ. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Prior to joining PSMC, he practiced in rural East Texas for seven years. Mr. Singh enjoys all aspects of family medicine, including preventive care. He believes in building long-lasting relationships with his patients and enjoys watching their families grow over time. Mr. Singh is pleased to call Colorado home, where he obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs. He is especially grateful to raise his family in his wife’s hometown of Pagosa Springs and to continue integration into the community through volunteerism and working with local charities. Mr. Singh enjoys spending time with his wife and son, running, hiking, camping, traveling, and exploring the great outdoors.

He earned his medical degree at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver and completed his residency in family medicine at the Fort Collins Family Medicine Residency program, where he served as chief resident. Prior to joining PSMC, Dr. Wisneski practiced full-spectrum family medicine in Grand County for 10 years, including hospital care, emergency medicine, and worked at an outpatient clinic. Dr. Wisneski also served as chief of staff at Middle Park Medical Center in Granby, CO. His hobbies include hiking, biking, skiing, snowshoeing, racquetball, scuba diving, travel, and astronomy.

He completed his residency in emergency medicine at Ohio Valley Medical Center in West Virginia, where he served as chief resident from March 2014 to July 2015. Brittiany Newsome, FNP-Cis a board-certified nurse practitioner in primary care and family medicine at Pagosa Springs Medical Center. Ms. Newsome graduated with her bachelor of science in nursing from Georgia Southwestern State University and earned her master of science in nursing from Albany State University. Ms. Newsome has practiced as a nurse since 2007 and became a certified nurse practitioner in 2012. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and specializes in pediatric care, along with experience in intensive care (ICU), emergency care, and clinic management. She received additional training in family medicine for children and adults, which is signified by the “F” in FNP-C. Ms. Newsome has two daughters, and together they enjoy outdoor activities, reading, and crafting.

Dr. Brown enjoys treating patients in all stages of life, from children to adults. Ralph Battels, MD, is a board-certified emergency medicine physician at Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC), where he serves as chief of staff. He graduated with a double major in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of California Santa Cruz, and earned his medical degree and completed his residency in emergency medicine at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Battels has practiced medicine since 1994 and served on PSMC’s medical staff since August 2013. He lives in Pagosa with his wife and enjoys reading, woodworking, and hiking.

Richard Zak, MD

Richard Zak, MD is a board-certified fellow of Gastroenterology. He graduated Cum Laude from Occidental College in Los Angeles and attended medical school at the University of Illinois, Abraham Lincoln School of Medicine where he also completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine.

Dr. Zak completed a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center/UCLA and went on to practice in Northern California. In 2011 He transitioned to the Rocky Mountains and relocated to Pagosa Springs to help develop the Endoscopy program at Pagosa Springs Medical Center.
As a Gastroenterologists Dr. Zak enjoys treating patients with a broad range of gastrointestinal diseases but has a particular interest in liver disease and hepatitis C. He also enjoys using latest medications for treatment because of their high rates of success.  He has extensive experience treating complex inflammatory bowel disease with advanced therapies.
Compassion and quality of care are core personal values of Dr. Zak. He finds that being a specialist allows him to realize those values because it enables him more time to listen to his patients and focus on treating the person and not just the disease.
Dr. Zak and his wife Lauren, a retired nurse,  enjoy the serenity and close knit community of Pagosa Springs. He has expressed his pride in being able to provide a service he loves doing, so his patients can receive excellent care within their community.
In his spare time, Dr. Zak enjoys taking in the peacefulness of wilderness camping, hiking, and horseback riding.
Dr. Zak specializes in endoscopies and colonoscopies and is accepting new patients.

Bill Webb, MD

Bill Webb, MD is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and a Member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America. Dr. Webb has been in practice for more than 20 years and has served as a team physician for school and professional football, basketball, and hockey teams.

He received his medical degree and completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in Shreveport. Dr. Webb went on to practice Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the Highland Clinic and then the Orthopaedic Clinic. Dr. Webb has also served as Chief of Surgery and Chief of Staff for CHRISTUS Schumpert Hospital.

Dr. Webb believes in working with his patients to develop the best plan of treatment to get them back to enjoying the activities they love to do. He enjoys getting involved with the local community and is accepting new patients.

Joshua Bramble, LPC

Joshua Bramble, LPC, is a licensed professional counselor in the Behavioral Health department at Pagosa Springs Medical Center (PSMC). Mr. Bramble is a national certified counselor, specializing in behavioral health issues for people of all ages. He graduated from Adams State University with a Master of Arts in School and Community Counseling in 2001. Mr. Bramble is a member of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and is certified as a clinical trauma professional by the International Association of Trauma Professionals. His interests include treating at-risk children and adolescents. He appreciates practicing integrated health as it allows him to work closely with a patient’s primary care team and treat the whole person by combining aspects of behavior health and primary care. Prior to joining PSMC, Mr. Bramble provided counseling services through his private practice in Pagosa Springs for 13 years. He serves as a Pagosa Fire Protection District (PFPD) volunteer firefighter.
