Maureen Mulligan, LMSW received her Master of Social Work from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. She has worked in behavioral health since 2006 with experience in family and couple’s counseling, emergency assessments, psychosocial assessments, and behavioral health issues in adults and adolescents. Her passion for helping others is most rewarded when working with teens. In New York State she was a presenter for the Emotionally Disturbed Response Team and was a Team Leader for the Trauma Response Team.
Maureen is a true east-coaster with roots in New Jersey and New York. She misses regional staples such as the beach, pizza, and a good bagel. The welcoming community and challenge of expanding behavioral health services in our area brings Maureen to Pagosa. She enjoys crocheting, reading, and playing the piano on her time away from the medical center.
Behavioral Health at Pagosa Springs Medical Center is open access, no referrals are needed to make an appointment.
