This month’s PSMC Radio Show at KWUF featured Dr. Julie Buchner, Medical Director of Primary Care and Andrew Spangler, EMS Training Center Director. The focus of discussion included the importance of sports physicals and keeping student athletes safe. Topics also included PSMC’s sports physical day, which will occur May 17th in collaboration with Who We Play For, an organization that provides cardiac screens for student athletes. Andrew discussed EMS involvement in sports safety, including emergency action plans with the Archuleta School District.
