October’s PSMC radio show at KWUF featured Dr. Bill Jordan, Oncologist/Hematologist and Darcy Harper, Oncology Nurse Practitioner from PSMC’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders.
Topics of discussion included advancements in cancer technology, both in the Cancer Center and in PSMC’s Diagnostic Imaging Department. Other topics included breast cancer awareness, the importance of early detection, and the genetic component which can increase chances for developing cancer.
