Dr. David Eisenhauer is a part-time board-certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon at PSMC. His love for medicine began in the Army National Guard, and as a college athlete, he knew he wanted to practice orthopedic surgery. Dr. Eisenhauer graduated from Oklahoma State University and received his medical degree in osteopathic medicine at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. He completed his residency Oklahoma State University Medical Center and went on to practice orthopedic surgery in Tahoe, Nevada, as well as practicing in Oklahoma and Missouri. Dr. Eisenhauer has worked with professional football and hockey sports programs, and additionally, he serves as the team physician for the Official US Ski and Snowboard Team.
Dr. Eisenhauer specializes in upper extremity orthopedics, with a special interest in the elbow. He loves the human interaction with his patients and believes in conservative care, getting great outcomes with options other than surgery.
Dr. Eisenhauer, his wife and 4 children love outdoor recreation such as skiing, hiking, and mountain biking.
