Rachel Liverett, FNP-C, grew up in Pagosa Springs and surrounding areas of Southwest Colorado. Rachel started her career in medicine as a CNA and EMT. She then earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University in 1999 and worked as an ICU nurse at University of Colorado Hospital in Denver for 8 years. Rachel and her husband decided to move their family back to Pagosa Springs and transitioned to the Emergency Department at Mercy Regional Medical Center in 2006, until there was a need for medical staff at PSMC after it was established in 2008. She worked as the Trauma Coordinator at PSMC to establish the Level IV trauma program and pursued her Family Nurse Practitioner from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs to further serve the community. Rachel graduated in 2020 and is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, specializing in medicine of all ages. She enjoys serving the people in her community and helping achieve their goals of wellness and health. Rachel, her husband, and their three children enjoy the outdoors through camping, trail running, mountain biking, and hiking.
