Philosophy of Care
Mobility is life, and I am blessed to be able to help another person who has lost their mobility or function. Each patient has individual goals when they come to see me. My job as an orthopedic surgeon is to: 1) Educate the patient on their diagnosis and treatment options, and 2) Help them meet those goals, whether that means surgical or nonsurgical treatment. This often takes a team approach, in concert with my non-operative colleagues, such as physical and occupational therapists and other medical subspecialists.
