This month’s PSMC radio show at KWUF featured two new PSMC providers, Scott Smith, MD, FACC, Cardiology and Emily Barber, FNP-C, Specialty Support. Dr. Smith explained his role at PSMC and the smooth transition that has taken place with patients. Emily Barber provided her emergency nursing and her family practice background. Both Dr. Smith and Emily discussed what brought them to Pagosa Springs.
Dr. Smith also expanded on the advantages of having an independent hospital in this community and how it allows PSMC to provide high quality, compassionate care.
